Time Machine Preferences - Mac OS X Leopard

Time Machine Preferences --------------------------------------------------------------------- After you've set up your Time Machine, you can customize its settings so that it only backs up certain files or folders on the computer.1. Plug in your external hard drive.2. Once the hard drive appears on your desktop, click on the Time Machine icon (a clock going backwards) in the top bar on the right. Select Open Time Machine Preferences. 3. The Time Machine window will open. Click on the Options button. 4. A new window will allow you to select which items on the computer to exclude from your backups. To exclude a new item, click on the "+" button in the left corner. 5. A dialogue box will open and you can browse your computer's folders and files. Select an item and click Exclude. This will add it to the excluded items list. 6.
