Seagate Barracuda 1.5TB hard drive problem ? Look here.

Your system might not recognize your new Seagate 1.5TB drive when it boots up. It could be that you have a SATA1 system. The jumper to limit drive speed on these drives is non functional. Here is a link to Seagate's knowledge base on this issue: forums.seagate.com
